Parents, we had a great day at Dew ISD!!

Parents, we had a great day at Dew ISD!!
A reminder: Please do not park and walk to the front door to collect your student at the end of the school day.
This causes a safety hazard.
Please stay in your car and we will load your student when you reach the front of the line.
We strive to do everything in our power to keep the students in our charge as safe as possible.
Thank you for your consideration!
Mr. Evans

Welcome from Superintendent Evans

Dew ISD Family,
I wanted to share some things before we get started tomorrow.
I will try to be brief. If you have any questions, please call me, 903.389.2828
First of all we are all truly excited to start another school year!
We will open the front doors daily at 7:15A. We ask to please wait until then to drop off your children, because that is when our folks will be in place
The actual school day begins at 8:00A. Please have your student to school by 7:55A, this allows us to start promptly at 8:00A. Students that get here after 8:00A disrupt learning and teaching that has already begun.
Also, please do not pick your student up early if you can help it. It is very important that they are here all day to benefit from the great teaching that is going on!!
Our official attendance time this year is 9:05A. Students that are not here at 9:05A will be counted absent.
Remember, state law says that in order for a student to receive credit, they must attend at least 90% of the instructional days.
Tardies and absents are very harmful to your child's learning. Please do everything in your power to get them to school and on time every day.
Hoping for a great school year!
Mr. Evans
